We’re delighted to announce that we’re resuming our annual volunteering in South Africa this summer. We’ve been granted permission to travel again which enables our volunteering projects to go ahead this year. We’re thrilled to see and work with our partners in South Africa face-to-face again and continue to build connections.
Preparations have begun to resume August volunteering and this year we will have 41 students and 16 staff from UWE Bristol travelling to the townships in Madadeni. This year an Engineering scoping project for 2023 has been included alongside 7 projects including Teaching, Technology, SEN, Rugby, Film and Photography, Professional Development and The Reading project. These projects will, as always work in partnership with schools to determine where collaborations can occur. We’ll be sharing pictures of each volunteering team over the coming weeks, so keep an eye out on our socials to meet the teams and welcome them!
