Sipheni Senior Primary School

Sipheni Senior Primary School is located in the Madadeni Township and has been working with Project Zulu for many years. The school currently has over 1 300 pupils enrolled and caters for Grades 5-7 aged 10 – 13yrs.

Based on a large site, the school benefits from a library, computer room and laboratories and prides itself on the quality of education they can offer to all learners. As with all of our partner schools, Sipheni would benefit greatly from additional educational resources to support their teaching and is dedicated to developing their delivery of quality education. 

Using funds from the 2016 Choir Tour, Sipheni built a combination sports court to benefit their Physical Education lessons. Pupils can now practice extra-curricular sports and the school can host sports tournaments. 

Sipheni Primary School will be joining Sithobelumthetho Primary School on the 2025 Choir Tour where both schools will be celebrating a return to the UK and a second choir tour. Funds raised in the upcoming tour will be used by Sipheni to equip classrooms with accessible technology that will enhance teaching and learning.
