Project Zulu are really proud of the work we do with UK schools.
During each tour we link with schools across all of our touring towns and cities to enable pupils of multiple ages and regional and cultural diversities to meet the Zulu choir.
We ask the UK school pupils to hold their own fundraising events to help bring the Project Zulu Choir to the UK. Their hard work is paid off when, thanks to their own fundraising, the pupils are able to play, learn and interact with the Project Zulu Choir in their school.
Across 2 UK tours Project Zulu have worked with over 20 schools.
During their school visits the Project Zulu Choir enjoy joining in with every day school activities that aren’t commonly practiced in their township schools such as practical science lessons, music, IT and PE lessons. The choir also share their musical talents with the UK children by holding dance and singing workshops.
With our 2016 Tour fast approaching Project Zulu are recruiting more schools to visit. If you’d like to check if we’re visiting your town or city then please get in touch. Or if you already know that we’ll be visiting your area and you’d like to learn more then please see our Schools Information Pack.
Can’t have a visit from the Project Zulu Choir?
You can still get involved with Project Zulu by holding your own fundraising event to receive a personal thank you from the Project Zulu team. Visit our School Fundraising Page for lots of fun and easy ideas.
