Where is Madadeni?
Madadeni is a township in South Africa. It’s located within the Newcastle Municipality of the Amajuba District, in the KwaZulu-Natal Province.
KwaZulu-Natal is the third smallest of Africa’s 9 provinces however it has the second largest population. It has one of highest ratios of Learners to Educators in whole of South Africa.
Outside Newcastle is the township of Madadeni. It has a current estimated population of 119,497. Over 99% of its population are of black African ethnicity and for most Zulu is their first language.
