Principal: Mr Mkhize
Jobstown Primary is located in a remote area slightly north of Madadeni. Each day its pupils must walk for many miles to reach the school and some are transported by local, overcrowded taxis buses.
Inside the school the classrooms are extremely overcrowded and as a result of this Mr Mkhize is short of resources for all of his pupils. In particular, the school had to lose their library in order to accommodate the number of pupils.
The money raised from our 2016 Tour was split equally between Project Zulu’s 6 partnership schools. All funds given to Jobstown have gone towards the building of a new classroom for their pupils.
Learners from Jobstown and Mntimande Primary schools will form the 2020 Project Zulu choir that will tour the South West in May/June 2020 with all funds raised being split equally between the two schools.
