Become a Host

Project Zulu link with families in and around the Bristol area to offer our choir children a safe, comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable place to stay during their tour. But this is so much more than simply offering a child a place to sleep; becoming a host enables you to fully embrace the tour experience and become part of the Project Zulu Team. Host families greet their children at the airport on day one; they welcome their child/children into their home and help them settle in bearing in mind that for most of the choir this is their first time away from home, first time in a foreign country and even the first time outside of their province of KwaZulu-Natal. Host families are able to join in with the Zulu spirit and attend days out and concerts as well as having their own free time to spend with their guests and show them their favourite sites.

Outside of Bristol when on tour the Project Zulu Team rely on the kind donations of hotels, churches, campsites and community halls to host the children and the tour team for some much needed rest!

If you are interested in becoming a host or offering a venue outside of Bristol when we are in your area please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Please note that in order to become a host a formal screening process including DBS checks will need to be carried out.
